Did you get to see family or friends yesterday? Did you smile or laugh? Were you warm and comfortable? Did you enjoy a meal on Thanksgiving Day? Do you have a body that moves when you want it to?

If you answered "yes" to even one question above, you have reason to be thankful.

So I want to encourage you today not to step on the bathroom scale, where a number might steal your joy. Your life is full of things to celebrate. Keep in mind that this is a season to count your blessings, not pounds.
